The total wealth of Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who has recently invested in Russian energy companies Gazprom, Rosneft and Lukoil, is at $16.9 billion. It was reported that Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal's company Kingdom Holding invested in Russian energy companies Gazprom, Rosneft and Lukoil between February 22 and March 22. Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. It was reported that a total of $500 million was invested in these companies, including $365 million in Gazprom in February. The Saudi Prince, who draws attention with his focus on "established brands going through difficult times," has a total wealth of $16.9 billion. A representative for Al-Waleed disputed media reports that he had made significant payments to Saudi officials, which is therefore not included in the calculation of his wealth. Al-Waleed owns land in and around Riyadh, a 420-room palace, the top three floors of Kingdom Tower, a majority stake in media company Rotana and Saudi residences worth $3.9 billion.
