Mercedes-Benz's revenues and net profit in the third quarter fell short of analyst expectations. The net profit for the third quarter amounted to 1.72 billion euros, below the anticipated 1.93 billion euros. During this period, revenues reached 34.53 billion euros, compared to the expected 36.29 billion euros. However, Mercedes-Benz's earnings before interest and taxes surpassed expectations of 2.47 billion euros, reaching 2.52 billion euros. The company sold 503,573 vehicles in the third quarter, compared to 510,564 vehicles in the same period last year.
