Captivating Report: 28 Tankers Spotted in Black Sea Ports
A total of 28 tankers are located at the Black Sea ports, the initial leg for oil reaching the world via the Istanbul and Çanakkale Straits. According to a report compiled by Tribeca Maritime Services, 12 of these tankers are identified as aframax, 13 as suezmax, and 3 as panamax type. Considering tankers that have not yet docked, the total number of tankers in the Black Sea is reported to be 41. Russian ports in the Black Sea like Novorossiysk, Taman, Kavkaz, Tuapse, and the Georgian port of Supsa are noted for receiving these tankers. Currently, there are 23 tankers docked in Novorossiysk, 3 in Taman, and 2 in Kavkaz. There are no tankers in Tuapse and Supsa.
