Headline: Boeing Reports a Whopping $6.2 Billion Loss
Boeing reported its third-quarter earnings, highlighting the unstable nature of the company ahead of a vote by striking workers. Boeing announced a net loss of $6.17 billion, increasing the total loss for 2024 to approximately $8 billion. The company reported a negative operating cash flow of -$1.345 billion. Revenue was reported at $17.8 billion, a decrease of about 1% compared to the same period last year. Boeing stated that the operating cash flow reflects "unfavorable working capital timing, including the impact of lower commercial widebody deliveries as well as the IAM strike action."
